I finally had a chance to look through all 44 pages and put some faces with my victims.  I know its a bit late but here's some pics of Bumbles. Is his M110 standard issue or was he using it just in that situation? I havn't seen soldier using M110 in non-urban conditions for a while now, so just wandering? Is he Marine or? Is he spotter or sniper? I'm in need of a good spotter And one last question, if he did shoot from 110, how did it behaved? I havn't had the honor to test it out yet, but I heard some very positive comments about it |

The M110 works pretty good. I switch between using that and a Crane .330 win mag. Situation dependent. Ive gotten hits out to 1530m with the M110 though 7.62 x 54 enters transonic at about 1140m. Its decent to about 1250m. The way we use sniper systems it a little different than traditional. Each person in the team shoots and spots making corrections based on their partners last round. It works well in low or no value winds and shorter distances. I'm not a Marine. Army SF.

And sweet weapon Loki. You hit your mark at nearly 1700yrds? Thats pretty amazing! And with .308 comparable rounds?
I'm definitely more a fan of .300 win mag, far superior round wouldn't you say? I have a Model 70 .300 WSM and its ballistics have such a huge lead over the .308/7.62x51or54 is doesn't seem logical that the NATO spec rounds are even used. And the win mag at long range has even better ballistics than the WSM iirc.
Is the situational difference that makes you choose one over the other mainly because the semi-auto vs bolt action?

Yeah dont get me wrong. The .300 WM is a far better round than the .308 but seeing as the MK13 is bolt action with a 5 rnd box max and the M110 is semi-auto with a 20rd mag it was a better gun in that situation. Gas guns are getting pretty darn accurate now. I hold a sub minute with the 110 and about a 3/4 min with the MK13. So not much difference, though the .300 has a bit more range on it. What i really want is a .338 Lapua or a .408 Cheytac

Sweet, I've been on 110 for a while now, but can't get my hands on it, I heard it's major improvement to m24, but also heard it's only better b/c of semi-auto. That's all just talk, need to test it myself And yeah, I figured out afterwards that only SF and Airbourne use m110, still not on good side with all the USA hierachy lol |

Its an alright gun. I've had some magazine issues with it in the past so I just bought some Magpul mags for it and a new butt stock with an adjustable cheek-weld. Its definitely better than the SR-25.
